Welcome to the New StampinBuds

If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ve probably noticed things look a little different around here. And if you’re brand new, well, you picked an interesting time to show up.
After 23 years with Close To My Heart and the past couple of years with Stampin’ Up!, I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about what I want this next chapter of StampinBuds to look like. When Close To My Heart closed in 2024, I picked myself up, found a new direction, and tried to keep going. But somewhere along the way, I realized I’d been so busy figuring out where I fit that I’d stopped asking what I actually wanted StampinBuds to be.
The answer is pretty simple. I want to scrapbook. I want to play with pretty paper, print the photos sitting on my phone, tell the stories behind them, teach, share ideas, and help other women actually use all those supplies we’ve been collecting for “someday.”
Most of all, I want StampinBuds to feel like mine again.
So, I’m Doing Things a Little Differently
Moving forward, StampinBuds won’t be built around chasing every new product. I’ll create with things I genuinely enjoy, share products I think are worth having, and probably pull out some pretty paper that’s been patiently waiting in my craft room for its moment to shine.
You’ll find scrapbook layouts and Recipes, Story Sparks, practical tips, Kitchen Table conversations, and ideas for getting more of those photos off your phone and into albums. There will probably be cards and other crafty things mixed in too, because apparently staying in one lane isn’t really my thing.
What I want most is to build a community again. A place where Mamas and Mimis can create, tell their stories, use what they have, discover a few new things along the way, and preserve more of the everyday moments their families will someday want back.
I don’t have every detail of this next chapter figured out yet, and that’s okay. I know why I’m here again, and that feels pretty darn good.
If you’re wondering where to begin, Start Here and I’ll show you around.
